Clump Crusher Mascara by Covergirl

To begin with, I have always enjoyed Covergirl mascaras.  They are just plain good.  The last two I tried were the Lash Blast, which I purchased, and Clump Crusher, which I got free from BzzAgent to review.

Has this changed my makeup experience?  It has made it easier.  I was using a high end brand of mascara that everyone was raving about, but the brush was awkwardly shaped.  I thought it would be easier to reach my short lashes.  When I started using Clump Crusher, I quickly realized that using a normally sized brush was SO MUCH EASIER and made the application that much faster! The other thing I like about this brush is it is designed to evenly coat your lashes.  The mascara does not have a chance to clump on the brush, therefore reducing chances of clumps on your lashes.  pretty smart of Covergirl, wasn't it? Why fix something if it ain't broke!

This is a picture of 2 coats of the Clump Crusher on my lashes. Notice any clumps!?  No!  You don't!! And because there are no clumps, your eyes will not stick together when you blink.  I love that about Clump Crusher! I also love the way Covergirl adds so much fun to the tube though color.  So innovative! 

This experience has reminded me that if something ain't broke, don't fix it!  Covergirl has always had such great products that have lasted on the market for years!  This mascara is sure to be another one of those products that we will see on the shelves for a long time to come.

Vichy Idealia Life Serum - Review

How did Life Serum perform based on its advertised benefits (e.g. increased hydration, smoother-looking skin, etc)?

Over the last two weeks, I would say it performed beautifully.  Definitely increased hydration. My skin was smoother feeling and looking. I didn't really need a moisturizer after using it!

How did Life Serum perform compared to similar skin care products you have used in the past?

Life Serum outperformed many other serums I have tried.  It was creamier and was not runny...YAY! I did not notice any reduced pigmentation as the jasmonic acid derivative claims to reduce it, but I may have to use the product longer for this to show.

Would you recommend Vichy Idealia to a family member and/or friend? 

Yes, I would!  I would not recommend it t people who have eczema, as it may irritate it.  It irritated mine, but for those with minimally sensitive skin or normal to dry, this product may work well for you! The scent was so light and disappeared shortly after use.

Awesome Product Alert!

Two months ago I got a package at my door.  It was from BzzAgent and contained a full size Secret Scent Expressions Ohh-La-La Lavender Clear Gel Antiperspirant / Deodorant.  THAT was a mouthful, wasn't it?  BzzAgent asked me to use this product and let the world know what I thought!

I am always skeptical of deodorants, as most do not wok on me.  I have been using Avon deodorant for over 10 years now with great success, even though it is wet for up to 5 minutes after applying.  I was thinking this would probably be wet for a few minutes too, due to it being a gel.  WRONG!  It dried within one minute or less.AWESOME!

I used it faithfully for 10 days.  The first day it worked great and lasted all day.  Day Two had the same effect. Day Three it lasted for six hours and then I noticed I did not smell quite so fresh....By Day Ten, Secret Scent Expressions Clear Gel Antiperspirant / Deodorant did not make it past five hours of me smelling fresh as a lavender flower...


I went back to using m Avon for 10 days.  Smelled great till midnight all ten days.  The next 10 days were spent using the Secret Scent Expressions Clear Gel Antiperspirant / Deodorant.  The effects were the same as the first ten days using it.  It worked great for five hours.  Darn!

Does Secret Scent Expressions Clear Gel Antiperspirant / Deodorant have a strong smell?

When you open the bottle, it smels strong, but not like Lavender!  After application, the smell dissipates and you are left with dry not strong smelling armpits within one minute.  I love this about it.  It dries SO FAST!

I also agree with the company on another point:  My clothes do NOT have any white/yellow marks after using it.  It leaves NO marks on my clothing.  This is great!

Another point that should be noted here:  Secret Scent Expressions Clear Gel Antiperspirant / Deodorant does not bunch up on your underarms.  You ever use one of those gels that you can actually see, hours later and it looks GROSS??  Secret Scent Expressions Clear Gel Antiperspirant / Deodorant does NOT do that. I used two twists one day just to find out if this would happen, and it did not.  My underarms were free and clear of anything gross..

I recommend this product!

OK, Imma gonna try this blogging thing again.  It' not really for you anyhow...Really, it's more for me. But feel free to drop by and find out what I'm up to these days!  After all, I'm TERRIFICALLY interesting AND gorgeous.....

These great lines I'm spouting are inspired by Breakfast at Tiffany's, a movie I recently watched.  Oh my, I was talking like Holly Golightly all that day.  I used more adverbs than a thesaurus.  Next week I think I'll try Roman Holiday.  Haven't seen that one yet either.  I am on an old movie BENDER, I tell ya!
